This is my first official blog post on my site. Never saw myself doing this but here we go lol...
The cup below, along with my upgraded site represent a new change within myself.
This was my first time ever drawing on a cup and I did it live on TikTok. Something else I never saw myself doing.
Just like the devil on this cup, there were things holding me back...
Mentally, it was a real struggle reaching this level with my skills as an artist. There were times where I wanted to give up. Periods where I took months and even a year or two off from drawing. Despite all that, I stuck with it. You decide whether or not if it was worth it for me.
In the anime Black Clover, Asta battles Zagred, a high-ranking devil. Spoiler alert!! Asta ends up defeating Zagred. None of that is possible without all of the hard work and effort Asta went through beforehand.
If you want to become a better artist, it's going to require effort. Especially if you want to be as good as Kōhei Horikoshi, Atsushi Ōkubo or Eiichiro Oda.
I'm here to tell you that it's possible to get THAT good! It's just going to take time and effort. I've been drawing for twenty-three years now and I just did this cup drawing a few months ago. That should show you just how much time and effort I've put into this skill.
If you haven't been drawing that long, you'll get there. I one-hundred percent believe you can as long as you put in the time and effort. That also doesn't mean it's going to take you twenty-three years to get to where you need to get to.
Are you ready to make a change? Whether you have or haven't, you're going to make countless changes to reach your destination. Assuming you want to get better of course lol.
